What we collect directly
Nothing. WC Travel Guide has no user accounts, no signup, no contact form, and no comment system. We do not directly collect names, email addresses, payment information, location, or any other personally identifiable information.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are visited and how visitors navigate the site. Google Analytics collects aggregated, anonymized data such as:
- Pages viewed and time spent on each
- Approximate geographic location (country / region, not precise)
- Device type, browser, and operating system
- Referring source (which site you came from)
Google Analytics is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out site-wide using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
External links and embedded content
This site links to external destinations including travel partners, Google Maps for restaurant and attraction locations, and source publications for our travel guides. Each of those services has its own privacy policy and may set its own cookies. We have no control over what data they collect or how they use it.
Cookies
We use essential cookies for site functionality and Google Analytics cookies as described above. We do not use cookies for advertising profiling. You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time; doing so may break the analytics functionality but the site will continue to work.
Children
WC Travel Guide is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect any data from them.

If we update this policy, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the homepage for at least one week.
